The best design by far is 3, its simplistic, charming, readable, clever, and just innovative. The other designs that I find appealing as a logo are 2, because of its simplicity, and possibly 1, if colored, it would be comparable in its design.
The logos that stick out to me the most are #3 and #9. I think they're both simple, but not too simple as to a bit of color could go a long way for both logos. Maybe for #3 write the initials as rain drops and have someone holding it, but that may be too complex.
I'll be honest: none really stick out to me very much. They seem a bit too simple, but No. 4 is the best of them. It incorporates each initial well, but I feel that there could be... more.
Numbers 1 & 3 are the better ones of your ten.A good combination of color fills between the "J" and the "D" in 1 could make the logo a bit flamboyent and usable. However, my favorite is 3. It's creative, versatile and memorable. My only suggestion for three is to add an aditional strand to the J and fill the initials with different colors for identity purposes.
I like number 2, 3, and 5. Number 2 is simple but once you start working on it on illustrator you can try different colors and bolder lines and it can be nice. Number three is creative and memorable, as well as simple. Number 5 is nice and it's probably my favorite of them all
I would say I like #3 the best because it is creative and meets most of the guidelines. However, I am not entirely sure if its appropriate for what you are trying to communicate to consumers. With that in mind I then leaned to #2 because it is simple. If you were to select this one for the project maybe it could be jazzed up a little in illustrator to make it more memorable.
Out of all of these logos, i'd say #3 is your best one. it's memorable and simply unique due to the fact you merged your initials into an umbrella with raindrops. I feel like with #1 its good, but i feel like you can jazz it up a bit by tweaking the letters just a lil bit to make it stand out more. As for #9 i like what you had in mind; However i feel like people would not know that your last initial is in there. I would suggest maybe drawing it around the black dot that way they know its not just your first initial. That way they won't just think it's a Yin Yang symbol with the letter J in it.
3 by far is the most creative and best design. But as far as the assignment goes for the business logo aspect goes I think 2 exhibits that the most because of it simplicity.

ReplyDeletenumber 5 is simple and memorable. i was thinking maybe try it in bubble letters or have it bold.
ReplyDeleteI like number 1 because it fuses both of the letters together. I think if you add color and have one fade into another , that would make it pop
